CTM 2021's first weekend continues with the Research Networking Day platform presenting ideas and projects in development by junior and senior researchers, followed by a 6-hour long virtual sci-fi rave in Minecraft created together with Club Matryoshka. Festivalgoers can also tune-in to Club Matryoshka's Twitch to follow the music live.

A multiplatform documentary project highlighting personal stories of senior African Americans from across eras of profound social change, research on an ancient textile computer used in the ancient Inca empire, and a study contrasting diversity and discrimination in virtual raves as compared historically from early 90s rave culture until present day irl parties round out the third and final module of the 2021 Research Networking Day.

As a follow-up to our first collaboration with Club Matryoshka, we've expanded on the unique »Alpha Lebbeus« Minecraft world, including with a story-based gameplay narrative co-developed with artist collective Children of Cyberspace. The six-hour journey is soundtracked by live and DJ sets created by a diverse group of emerging artists from around the globe, curated in a collaborative spirit by Club Matryoshka and CTM.
